How
to Help the Trust
‘To
save a breed is priceless’
To
establish a new breeding group in the collection costs around £500
To
maintain that group for a year [feed, labour, recording etc]
costs £300
The
Cobthorn Trust is currently seeking to raise the necessary funds
to construct a purpose built
new
breeding unit at Cobthorn Farm to house the National
Poultry Collection and to
allow the establishment of further breeding groups in a number
of critical rarities.
This
project alone is likely to cost over £30,000
of capital expenditure plus the additional staff costs. The
Cobthorn Trust is a non profitmaking conservation Trust which
relies on
the donations of interested supporters to supplement the
Trust’s
income from its consultancy work. If
you would like to help the work of The Cobthorn Trust, donations
are always welcome and can be sent to the address here.
